Jodd & Forn waiting for some snow

Jodd & Forn waiting for some snow

This is what Jodd & Forn does when they get bored waiting for snow. Skate some grass, leaves and wet streets in great autumn weather!

Wait no longer, Oppdal is opening this weekend normally.

Also, I was wondering how you guys do it for skipasses. You just get a season pass that’s valid all over Norway (or part of it. Does this exist) or …
I have been looking around and just buying a (multiple)day pass whenever I go can get pretty expensive. When I buy a season pass for say Vassfjellet on the other hand, I am “forced” to go there all the time.

This is life in Norway, your wallet gets screwed. Only Hemsedal and Trysil have a card that works both places.

    Gerrit!
    spend all your savings!

Yeah, I was planning that anyway but want to do so in the most efficient way.

I’m thinking about buying a seasonspass for Oppdal (2600nok) or one for vassfjellet (2960nok). I just hate I dont have a car. Oppdal is quite far away to take a bus everyday and vassfjellets bus hours seem fucked up in the weekdays (it says it only leaves at 16.30 on the site)
Since Vassfjellet is smaller yet more expensive, I guess I’ll go for Oppdal and do some week trips over there.

Jo is misinformed! If you go to the beautiful coast of sunnmøre (much nicer place than trøndelag!!) you can get a pass for: Strandafjellet, Fjellsetra, Stryn, Stordal and Harpefossen. You need a car, but if the snow is good you wont get any better value for money in Norway if you want to ride pow.

The drive between some of these places is pretty far, but i think thats a advantage cause you will get good conditions at one of these locations almost any day of the year.

pretty cheap, and a nice roadtrip!

  12. odde Says:

dont listen to sunnmøringer, they are as greedy as it gets.
he only wants you to spend your money there so he and his inbreeds can feast of our fortune.

    Dont do it Gerrit!

Men d hadde jo vært gøy da!!!!!

haha, I decided in the end not to buy a seasonspass and just try and visit a lot of places and hope for some cheap offers. Went to Funasdalen this weekend and it was very cheap because only a few slopes were open. Much better than Oppdal where they asked full price for 300m of slope.

Gerrit: Dont get your hopes up, Vassfjellet is known for being greedy bastards. They even charge for parking.
